The definition of Ingenuity is "the quality of being cleverly inventive or resourceful".
Last week, we introduced Carter to the tricycle that has been collecting dust in our garage. He was pretty excited, but disappointed when we discovered his little legs were just a hair too short for the pedals. Time to be creative. Nothing a little 2x4, some old oxygen tubing and a black rubber bungee thingy couldn't fix.
Hence our masterpiece...
It took some adjustments...
and a little advice from the pro...
but he was pedaling like a champ in no time...
a little video replay helped him refine his new skill...
then he got annoyed that I was in his way taking pictures...
The perfect ending to his first ride... we spotted this hot air balloon flying by...
